Solve your first nonogram
A picture hidden inside numbers. Never done one? Good. Twelve short steps, you do every one of them yourself, and at the end there is a finished picture that you worked out with pure logic.

Twelve short steps and this grid becomes a picture. No nonogram experience needed.
It is a flower in a pot.
You made that out of nothing but numbers, one square at a time. That is the whole hobby.
How to play
- Pick a colour, then tap squares. Drag sideways, or hold a square to draw any direction.
- Click a filled square again to clear it.
- Use × for squares you know stay empty.
- Same colour blocks need a gap. Different colours may touch.

Nice work. You solved it.
Have fun? If you enjoyed that, our booklets are the same feeling for far longer: bigger grids, a whole picture at the end of each one, and stickers you place with the applicator instead of a screen.
Here is 10% off when you buy two or more nonogram booklets.
- Every booklet comes with spare stickers, the same as our other kits.
- Stickers peel off cleanly and go back down, so a wrong square is a few seconds of work.
- Full solutions are printed in the back of the book if you get stuck.
Did you know
Puzzles and sharper thinking travel together. In one of the largest studies of its kind, 19,078 adults over 50 were tested, and the more regularly someone did number puzzles, the better they scored on attention, reasoning and memory. It shows a link rather than proof, but it is a big link.PROTECT study, Exeter and King's College London, 2019
Nonograms are deduction, not luck. Unlike a jigsaw or a word search, every square is worked out from what the numbers rule in and rule out. It is the same if this, then that reasoning you use to plan a week or read a contract, in a form you can finish in an evening. How the puzzle works
Making something by hand lifts mood. Reviews of craft-based activity consistently find better wellbeing and lower stress, largely because a task that is absorbing but achievable pulls you into flow. Placing stickers one square at a time is about as absorbing as a hobby gets.Systematic reviews of crafts and wellbeing, 2024 to 2025
Quiet frame. Loud art.

Read the clues
The numbers along each row and column tell you how many squares to fill, and in what order. Start where the clues give the most away.

Fill the grid
Place a sticker in each square the clues point to. Cross off the ones you know stay empty, so the picture starts to take shape.

Reveal the picture
Work row by row until every clue is solved. The finished grid turns into a piece of pixel art, no guessing needed.
